Community Sports Pavilion
Peterborough
(with Capita Architecture)
Client:
Peterborough City Council
Description:
Riverside Community Sports Pavilion is built on a games field consisting of two football pitches and a all weather multipurpose pitch located on the former British Sugar site in Peterborough.
The Pavilion accommodates not only changing facilities for outdoor activities but also an indoor hall for the community from the nearby housing development.
I worked on the project initially up to planning stage closely working with the quantity surveyors to come up with a design that was affordable.
The building was a finalist for the 'Best project under £10m' at the National Construction Industry Awards 2010.
